Mummy MOT

Mummy MOT – 75mins £120

A Mummy MOT, here in Brixton, south London, is like a tailored wellness check-up for new mums, especially when done by an osteopath.

About six weeks after you've had your baby, you can head to your local osteopath i(easily accessible from Clapham, Herne Hill or Camberwell) to get a thorough postnatal assessment.

This session is designed to help you recover and feel your best after all the physical changes of pregnancy and childbirth.

Your osteopath will carefully check your spine, pelvis, joints, and the condition of your abdominal muscles and pelvic floor.

During your Mummy MOT your osteopath will use gentle, hands-on techniques to identify any issues and help your body regain its balance.

This might include soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, or specific osteopathic adjustments to relieve tension and improve alignment.

They'll also have a chat with you about your pregnancy and birth experience, and any aches, pains, or concerns you're dealing with now. Based on their findings, they’ll create a personalised plan just for you!

This could include exercises to strengthen your core and pelvic floor, tips on posture, and advice on managing any niggles.

The goal is to help you feel strong, supported, and ready to enjoy all the adventures of motherhood in Brixton, Clapham, Herne Hill and the surrounding areas in south London.
