Gillian Sheffer
Registered Osteopath
Gillian graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 2005, the recipient of the Hugh Hellon-Harris prize. She started working at our centre soon after graduating and is the most senior and experienced of the osteopathic associates in the clinic.

She prides herself on ensuring her patients are comfortable and well informed on their treatment throughout and is a great believer in the MOT (maintenance osteopathic treatments) keeping her patients mobile and pain free all year round.

Treatments: Osteopathy
Orthotics
As well as a special interest in the treatment of migraines Gillian is an enthusiastic advocate of orthotics (corrective insoles) using the Everflex template method (so no messy plaster moulds!).

She incorporates soft tissue mobilisation, articulation and manipulation techniques as well as the "Pulse" machine in her treatments and will also include cranial osteopathic modalities where indicated.
Gillian enjoys cycling and yoga in her spare time, which is also divided between her 2 children, 2 cats and garden.
